LONDON –August 13, 2025 – Ada Infrastructure announced today that James Moloney has joined as Ada’s Head of EMEA. Prior to joining Ada, Moloney was General Manager, EMEA, Data Centre Planning and Delivery at Amazon Web Services. He brings extensive experience having led planning, delivery, construction and energy, as well as site selection and procurement services.
“As we continue to grow and expand our footprint across the EMEA region, targeting over 1 GW of IT load, James brings a wealth of experience and insight to the Ada team,” commented Adrian Olteanu, global head of Ada Infrastructure. “Starting with our 210 MW flagship Docklands Data Centre Campus in East London, we welcome his leadership as we deliver capacity to customers in this critical market.”
“Joining the Ada team at this pivotal point is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in our industry,” said James Moloney. “I was extremely attracted to Ada’s vision, global platform, and the strength of its leadership team along with the backing of Ares’ investment expertise. I believe these are key success factors as we build partnerships with hyperscale and enterprise customers to meet their long-term deployment requirements across the region.”
In June, Ada also welcomed Michael Landgraf, Ada’s Head of Global Energy Infrastructure. Michael has led over $3 billion in high-voltage transmission and substation projects across CAISO, ERCOT, and Mexico, enabling more than 20 GW of renewable and conventional generation to reach major load centers. Previously in leadership roles at Blackstone and NextEra Energy, his large-scale energy expertise complements our data center platform—driving timely interconnections, strategic market analysis, and targeted investment in on- and offsite infrastructure to advance Ares’ Digital and Infrastructure platforms.
